The ambassador role varies from the promotion of the podcast to outreach tasks. Being an ambassador will include opportunities to be involved and share information about healthcare, connections, support, rheumatic diseases and disability equity. Ambassadors will be able to gain experience in building leadership skills, networking abilities, and marketing expertise as well as meet others with similar lived experiences.

Take a Pain Check loves to showcase talents and disseminate information in unique ways. We want Take a Pain Check to be a platform where you can express yourselves. We encourage all of you to complete this google form and upload your TikToks/Reels so we can post it on our side for you. We are very excited to see your creativity!

Do you want to hangout with other teens and young adults your age with similar lived experiences? Maybe even make some friends? The Joint Effort Rheum is a program launched by Take a Pain Check aimed towards building a community at a personal level. Led by ambassadors and executives (teens and young adults with rheumatic diseases), sessions will take place on a monthly basis. Each session will be one hour long and will involve team building exercises, deliberating relevant topics, asking questions, having important discussions, participating in game & activity nights and much more.
