Adult Ambasssador Program
(Ages 25-60)

Benefits

  • Join a community where you feel supported and are able to meet people your age who are passionate about chronic illness and rheumatic disease awareness

  • Work with and meet people who are dedicated and want to help others; gain friendships, mentorships, and relations that are encouraging and motivating

  • Achieve a TAPC certificate recognizing Ambassador participation 

  • Join the LinkedIn business page 

  • Get access to the discord

  • Obtain access to a network of like-minded individuals (eg. other ambassadors, the team members, etc.) 

  • Gain opportunity to strengthen marketing, networking, leadership skills and, communication skills

Responsibilities 

  • Learn about TAPC and more about rheumatic diseases

  • Create 1 blog post a year

  • Recruit for the mailing list 

  • Brainstorm and execute plans that contribute to the growth of Take a Pain Check

  • Help with fundraising activities and contribute ideas on how to fundraise 

  • Establish a presence of TAPC within the community 

  • Write and share 1 or more short stories that are fictional yet based on non-fiction. These could be stories of what it was like growing up with JIA, chronic illness, etc. These stories will be published on our Patreon.

  • Follow and promote Take a Pain Check’s social media platforms by:

    • Liking and commenting on our social media content.

    • Reposting our marketing materials on the personal social media accounts.

    • Utilizing promotional material posted within the shared Ambassador Google Drive folder (eg. distributing flyers, posts, etc.)

    • Engaging in person-to-person interactions can be used for promoting and growth of foundation 

  • Hosting 1 Joint Chat Rheum Event 

  • Creating Fun Fact Friday Videos (Optional)

Meetings & Communication

  • Attend occasional meetings

  • Communicate in the Ambassador group chats while staying up to date with announcements. Mode of communication will be determined based on the most used platform of members in the program. 

  • Reach out to other clubs or organisations inside/outside of your community to promote Take a Pain Check

  • Check the shared Ambassador Google Drive folder on a weekly basis and complete any tasks assigned
