Health Care Professional Ambassador (HCPA) Program
Take a Pain Check (TAPC)’s Healthcare professional ambassador program consists of physicians from a variety of specialties (residents, fellows and attendings) and allied healthcare professionals.

Responsabilities

Get involved in the rheumatic disease community and engage in topics from a patient perspective
-
Create a minimum of 1 blog post a year about your research or rheumatic disease related
-
Mention potential opportunities for sponsorships, conferences, and other opportunities to present TAPC, including grants for community service by hospitals and organisations

Work in collaboration with the HCPA Coordinator to apply for the grant opportunities provided by your clinic or hospital, or others you may come across
-
Promote joint chat rheum monthly support groups in your hospital and clinic, and recommend to patients to participate, providing them a safe, space and community monthly
-
Participate in virtual and physical gatherings hosted by Take a Pain Check when possible, and actively promote awareness to encourage greater attendance and participation

Brainstorm and execute plans that contribute to the growth of Take a Pain Check as well as this program

Establish a presence of TAPC within your community

Mention TAPC to patients, parents, allies

Promote TAPC to other rheumatologists and interested individuals

Provide TAPC with connections which can be utilised for funding such as pharmaceutical companies, hospital grants, as well as increasing TAPC’s network and community

Follow and promote Take a Pain Check’s social media platforms by:

Liking and commenting on our social media content

Following our social media platforms

Reposting our marketing materials on your personal social media accounts

Put up posters and flyers in your own workplaces, or receive resource sheets from our team to provide to patients (including oral healthcare and rheumatology)

Partake in social media (Optional)

Ex. Day in the life, Other videos (Instagram Reels, Tiktok, Youtube)

The estimated time commitment for this role is up to 2 hours per month
Meetings & Communication

Attend onboarding meeting
-
Attend quarterly meetings with other HCPA ambassadors and the HCPA Coordinator

Communicate in the HCPA chat while staying up-to-date with announcements

Reach out to other health professionals in/outside of your community to promote Take a Pain Check
-
Check the shared HCPA Google Drive folder on a weekly basis and complete any tasks assigned
-
Check slack on a daily basis for updates
